Mural depicting Escondido’s history unveiled

On Tuesday, June 18, a mural entitled “The Wall Speaks, A Cultural Walk Through Escondido,” was unveiled at the Escondido Community Child Development Center (ECCDC) Lorraine Boyce campus on 9th Avenue. Volunteer van goes into service

On Wednesday, June 5, the new Escondido Fire Department Support Volunteer van went in service. The volunteer group, who provide logistical support for the fire department on a daily basis and during emergency incidents, all received orientation and training on the new vehicle. The new van replaced their 12-year-old van that was at the end of its useful lifespan.
