“Woolly the Mammoth,” at the Roynon Museum of Earth Science & Paleontology is feeling the love after donations began trickling in after a news article called attention to the accident that broke the prehistoric skull two weeks ago.
According to Sherry Bauer, director of education & special events at the museum, “there has been a lot of excitement around the museum this past week. Donations have been trickling in; we went over the hill and have passed the half-way mark, now it is downhill from here. Please help us not lose the momentum we have going. If you have not sent in your donation to help Woolly mend, it is not too late. We hope to have him repaired in time for the new school year.”
Bauer added, “Forget about ‘All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,’ YOU, our amazing fans are going to help us put Woolly back together again. Thanks to all of you that have donated, every penny helps.”
