The Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Escondido is coming up on Saturday, September 22 at Kit Carson Park.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Escondido
Saturday, September 22 – Kit Carson Park (enter at Mary Lane then follow the signs)
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.. Opening Ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Walk begins at 9 a.m.
Join the San Diego/Imperial Alzheimer’s Association Chapter for a 2 mile walk through Kit Carson Park including Queen Califia’s Sculpture Garden. There will be face painting, a craft booth, a stilt walker, live music and more. It’s a great event for the whole family! To register online go to; alz.org/walk then select the Escondido Walk or act.alz.org/escondido. Otherwise registration at the event opens at 7:30AM!
This is the third year that the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has held the North County Walk in Escondido at Kit Carson Park. Last year there were over 800 walkers and $84,000 was raised. The 2018 goals are 1,350 walkers and $135,000 raised. Escondido Police Chief Craig Carter will MC the event.
