Valley Center Museum offers ‘one-of-a-kind’ holiday gifts—
The all-volunteer staff at the Valley Center History Museum has issued its annual reminder that the museum’s gift shop features a number of one-of-a-kind items and souvenirs that are welcome holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.
Shoppers will find books on local history, T-shirts featuring the town’s iconic Grizzly Bear, coloring books, note cards, teddy bears, jewelry, and more.
Gifts of membership at selected levels include a complimentary DVD of the award-winning documentary film on the history of Valley Center. All sales benefit the History Museum, a nonprofit organization.
The museum at 29200 Cole Grade Road is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Information: vchistory.org or call (760) 749-2993.
Free Christmas Concert to be held at Library—
The Valley Center Symphony will be performing a Christmas concert at 5 p.m. on Dec. 21 at the Valley Center Library.
