Two Escondido were among a total of 19 landscape professionals that received prestigious honors for commercial and residential properties that span the entire San Diego County
The San Diego chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) recently honored 19 local landscape contractors with the 2019 Beautification Awards for excellence in landscape installation and maintenance, and demonstrating the best quality, construction, originality, and attention to detail on 2019 projects completed within the last year. A total of 48 awards were presented in 15 categories culled from 84 entries, which encompassed residential and commercial landscape construction, maintenance and renovation, along with water features, outdoor lighting and water-saving California-friendly landscaping.
Escondido awards include:
MSE Landscape Professionals took home an award for their Toyota of Escondido (Commercial Maintenance) Project in Escondido.
Nature Designs Landscaping took home an award for their Quiet Hills Residence (Residential Maintenance) Project in Escondido.
The three top-tier award winners included:
● New Way Landscape & Tree Services received the Judges’ Award for the Hotel Del Coronado Project in Coronado.
● Falling Waters Landscape received the Presidents’ Award for the Belt Residence Project in La Costa.
● Torrey Pines Landscape company received the Sweepstakes Award for the Drew Residence Project in Rancho Santa Fe.
Award entries are judged by a panel of expert CLCA members who closely inspect each nomination for the quality of workmanship and materials utilized. Each landscaping entry must adhere to industry standards and have demonstrated proper execution. The judges for this year’s Beautification Awards are:
