Escondido police confirmed this week that as many as 25 vehicles had their tires slashed between Saturday night and Sunday morning in in the 700-800 block of East 2nd and East 4th avenues.
This was confirmed by Lt. Ed Varso of the Escondido Police Dept. Varso told the Times-Advocate: “Yes, we believe the vandalism occurred sometime Saturday night into Sunday morning. It appears that approximately 20-25 vehicles were targeted in 700-800 block of E. 2nd and E. 4th Ave. No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to call Escondido Police.”
Residents in the area woke up Sunday morning to find their tires flat.
