Chamber to hold open house

The Escondido Chamber Open House will be held Tuesday, July 25, 5–7 p.m. at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, 720 N Broadway, Escondido.

Andreas Englund “Superlife: Uncut at Distinction Gallery” is an exhibition running from now until August 5.

Andreas Englund is most well-known for his hilarious photo realistic paintings featuring an anonymous superhero and every day human struggles.

Andreas has been featured in dozens of art fairs, magazines, books, and news stories. In addition to his paintings and prints being shown around the world, he has created large-scale murals in many places including Berlin, Norway, New York, and Grand Central in Stockholm. He has also created many commissions for high profile businesses including Sony PlayStation. In addition to paintings, lithographs, and prints Andreas is also a recognized filmmaker. Andreas Englund was born in Falun in 1974, Sweden. He is based in Stockholm.

“Stars and Stripes – Honoring our Military” continues at the Escondido Art Association gallery until July 28.

A special reception was held last weekend during the  2nd Saturday Artwalk, when the EAA hosted two military personnel from Camp Pendleton.
