The Fall Grand Avenue Festival is this Sunday

From one end of Grand to the other, there is something for everyone!

The Fall Grand Ave Festival on Sunday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., sponsored by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, will be brimming with local entertainment on two stages featuring talent from professional and not for profit studios as well as high school and elementary performing arts students.

Shopping is always a unique experience at the Grand Avenue Festival, with vendor booths lining both sides of the street. Support the Escondido Jaycees by getting a pancake breakfast at their booth on Orange Street. For lunch and dinner, enjoy a variety of international food at Kalmia and Orange Street food courts. Also, stop in and discover the eclectic businesses on Grand Avenue that are open year round.

The Grand Ave Festival and Street fair is Escondido’s one day largest event. You could literally spend the entire day walking up and down the 12 city blocks that will be roped off and not see the same thing twice. It is truly a pedestrian’s paradise. It’s a day to come out and shop and find some good food and gifts or just chat with your neighbors.

The Grand Ave Festival and Street Fair takes place twice a year on the third Sunday of May and October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and has been a family tradition since 1989.

The Times-Advocate will once again be the Chamber’s premier news partner in this event. And they will also be sharing booth space. The location will be on Maple Street Plaza. Stop by and pick up a free paper or sign up for a subscription.
