NORTH COUNTY UNIT OF RADY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AUXILIARY UNIT
The ladies of the Rady Children’s Hospital, North County Unit are very grateful for all who help them continue their efforts to support the children at Rady Hospital. The North County Unit meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, September through May. Their last meeting will be an installation luncheon on May 15 at the Shadow Ridge Country Club in Vista. Lunch will be served and they will install the new officers for their unit. They welcome anyone who wants to come and learn a little more about their unit. During the summer they do have other fun get togethers so keep an eye open for upcoming events. Their next meeting will be held September 18.
2019 CREEK TO BAY CLEANUP
You are invited to join your neighbors for the 17th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup on Saturday, April 27. Volunteers will be helping paint, plant, and mulch at Washington Park, Grape Day Park, Mountain View Park and Kit Cason Park. Registration is now open for volunteers. BE WATER SMART POSTER CONTEST
Every year Escondido 4th graders are challenged to use their conservation, science, and pollution prevention lessons, as well as artistic skill and creativity to design a poster around the theme “Be Water Smart”.
