This Sunday, March 24 is the monthly Daley Ranch Open House. This a great opportunity to see the inside of the historic Daley Ranch House and talk with docents and staff. The house is located approximately one mile uphill from the Daley Ranch parking lot. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring plenty of water.


The San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy (SDRVC) offers a trip back in time at the San Diego Archaeological Center April 13, 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. 

The whole family will participate in artifact analysis and mapping and an Archaeology Quest in the museum, with additional museum activities afterward. New exhibits will also be available to explore where participants can check out the new “Cuseum” app which offers additional information and videos.

Recommend closed-toe shoes, pants and a jacket in case of inclement weather, water and snacks. Donations gratefully accepted. This event is part of the Conservancy’s Watershed Explorers Program.

The Escondido Arts Partnership’s annual art auction fundraiser gala “Panache” will be held  Saturday March 23, 5:30–9 p.m.

The program is an evening for appreciating and collecting standout art during live and silent auctions featuring some of the San Diego regions most exceptional artists, with an opportunity to bid on the cornerstone of the auction, an original serigraph by the late  Niki de Saint Phalle created for the 1995 documentary film  “Who Is the Monster you or me?” by Peter Schamoni. (the film is included in this auction.)

Throughout the evening attendees will enjoy live jazz music by the Midnight Trio, socialize at the hosted beer and wine bar, savor lavish charcuterie and tray passed appetizers,  and top off this celebration of art with live auctions with auctioneer Eric Lehew.
