The female driver of the Ford Ranger sustained minor injuries, and was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.

Mr. Johnson was arrested for felony DUI charges and felony Manslaughter charges.

This incident remains under investigation.  Gopher Canyon Road was closed from the time of the collision until approximately 12:30 AM Tuesday morning as the scene was investigated and processed.
