Students honored for water posters

Fourth grade Students of Reidy Creek Elementary School and North Broadway School were among 130 entries in the North County Water Agencies’ (NCWA) sponsored poster contest to encourage water awareness.  Other Escondido elementary schools that participated were Miller, Rock Springs and Bernardo. The top three entries are awarded gift certificates for $100, $75 and $50. The top three entries are sent to NCWA for further consideration. In addition, teacher incentives of $100 for each classroom’s art supplies are awarded for each student who places in the contest. The prizes were as follows: 1st place, Madyson Sprankles, Reidy Creek Elementary School; 2nd place, Ally McKinly, Reidy Creek Elementary School and 3rd, Olivia Louis Bulow, North Broadway School.
