Valley Center Municipal Water District (VCMWD) had its annual North County Water Agency Poster Contest, 2015 awards at our Board Meeting in Monday, June 1, 2015. This contest involved over one hundred 4th Graders from the Valley Center and Lilac elementary schools and this year’s theme was: “Be Water Smart.”
Each year, under the leadership of Trish Garcia, with the assistance of Terri May and others from our staff, VCMWD participates in the North County Water Agencies Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest.

Ag In the Class Room – The District also participates in the annual VCPUSD “Ag in the Class Room Day” to raise water conservation and resource stewardship awareness among the community’s Fourth Grade students. Well over 1400 students who participated in VCMWD sponsored “Splash Lab” at the Gang Ranch, site for the annual “Ag In the Classroom” event.
