Hot Glass & Mixed Media Artist James Stone has created a new collection of glass hearts just in time for Valentine’s Day; Stone & Glass will be giving live glass blowing demonstrations during the Chocolate festival (see related article in this edition.)
Escondido’s hot glass and mixed media studio, Stone & Glass, will be participating in the ‘For the Love of Chocolate: Escondido Chocolate Festival’ on Saturday, February 10, from 1– 5 p.m.
This Escondido Chocolate Festival will be giving participants a sweet memory with gourmet chocolate tastings and an Escondido arts and culture experience. Many galleries and museums will feature wonderful art exhibits and special activities, including Stone & Glass.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Stone & Glass will be offering limited edition, specialty glass hearts for purchase. For the festival, Stone & Glass will be offering a 10% on beer and wine glasses. And, they will be giving live glass-blowing demonstrations in their studio, which has recently relocated to Downtown Escondido.
“Our hand-blown glass hearts make special Valentine’s Day gifts that will last forever,” says James Stone, owner of Stone & Glass. “The festival is a great way to gather loved ones for the holiday and we are excited to be able to give live demonstrations of our craft and bring an art element to the afternoon.”
The festival will take place in Downtown Escondido, and will-call will be located at Maple Street Plaza & Grand Avenue. The festival will also feature beer and wine pairings, chocolate-themed restaurant tastings, horse drawn carriage rides, raffle prizes, Valentine’s Day specials and more.
