Christmas break for our Faith Formation classes will start Dec. 21 and resume Jan. 4, 2016. This Year of Mercy is a time to heal, to help and to forgive.

Let us practice the Corporal Works of Mercy:
To feed the hungry
To give drink to the thirsty
To clothe the naked
To shelter the homeless
To care for the sick
To visit the imprisoned
To bury the dead

Spiritual Works of Mercy:
To convert sinners
To instruct the ignorant
To advise the doubtful
To comfort the sorrowful
To bear wrongs patiently
To forgive injuries
To pray for the living and dead

Our high school youth will be making a trip to St. Thomas More in Oceanside on Dec. 21 for this excellent night with guest speaker, Luke Maxwell. His powerful testimony is about a journey from depression and suicide to redemption and healing.
