Sketch Released of Stabbing Suspect in Vista




 

 

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Vista Sheriff’s Station want the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing.

It happened just before 10:00 a.m. on March 21, 2016 at a home located near the intersection of E. East Drive and N. Santa Fe Avenue in Vista. That’s where a male suspect entered the house without permission and stabbed a 15-year-old female with an unknown weapon.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.

The suspect is described as a 16 to 18 year-old Hispanic male, standing between 5’5” and 5’10” tall and weighing between 160 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a grey or black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and possibly a black San Diego Padres hat. He was last seen riding a small green bicycle.

Anyone with information on this case should call the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department at (858) 565-5200 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
