Tiffany Ortmeier, a resident of the Country Club Drive area of Escondido, brought to our attention Dorothy Glum, who worked at the 7-11 on Country Club Drive for 16 years without missing a day.
According to Ortmeier “She has worked there for 16 years and makes everyone’s day better by being there. Our 7-11 is used by our community and the staff know many of us as regulars. Dorothy is a joy to see everyday.”
Glum’s last day of work was Friday, August 12. She decided to move to Florida to be closer to family.
Ortmeier told the Times-Advocate: “She hasn’t missed a day of work in 16 years. Actually she hasn’t missed even one hour. I find her to be an inspiration to everyone. Her work ethic and kindness are extraordinary. Please help me recognize her!”
