Two local bands and a San Francisco group will perform at The Kettle Coffee & Tea at 119 E. Grand Ave., Escondido, starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Three bands will perform: The Cherries, a raucous punk-style group from San Francisco; Gift, which is coming off of a gig at The Pour House in Oceanside, members include Lucas Canziani, bass, Justin Eddy, guitar and Shane Tanksley, guitar and vocals;

The event is free to the public and all ages are welcome to attend.
The Kettle Coffee & Tea is a local Escondido coffee shop that regularly hosts open mic nights as well as various music performances. Open Mic night starts 6 p.m. every Thursday. The coffee shop also hosts poetry nights, workshops and other events.
