Retired California judge to speak on “Economic Inequity: Decline of the Middle Class”

Pat Coony, a retired Administrative Law Judge for the State of California, will be the speaker for the Escondido Democratic Club (EDC) meeting on June 11.

The title of his talk is “Economic In­equity: Decline of the Middle Class.” Coony is the creator of an online pub­lic policy site – newsbatch.com. An active member of the League of Wom­en Voters (LWV), he’s most interested in the relationship between human na­ture and political outcomes and prefers to analyze history and current events through this perspective. You are invited to join the group for refreshment and social hour at 10 am. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of Escondido Chamber of Commerce building, 720 N Broad­way, Escondido, CA 92025.

On the Memorial Day weekend the Escondido Democratic Club joined forces with the Valley Center Demo­cratic Club in the Valley Center Days parade.
