Raising Cane’s needs employees to open new Escondido restaurant

Raising Cane’s is preparing to open one of its chicken finger restaurants in Escondido in early August.

Located at 1280 W. Valley Parkway the new Raising Cane’s will offer the popular brand’s One Love– quality chicken finger meals – with customers through their multi-lane drive-thrus, curbside pickup and online ordering through its mobile app.

Guests will also be able to dine inside the new  modern dining rooms and on their expansive patios.

Raising Cane’s is set to hire 240 local Crewmembers – 120 for the Escondido restaurant and 120 for the restaurant they will open first in San Marcos – in the weeks ahead. The new restaurants will be seeking individuals for multiple positions ranging from management-level to hourly crew.

“San Marcos and Escondido have been on our radar for a long time, so we are thrilled to give ‘Caniacs’ in both cities a Cane’s to call their own,” said Regional Vice President Cheryl Reed. “Both restaurants are located near regional epicenters of North San Diego retail, making it super convenient for locals to enjoy our hot, fresh chicken finger meals. Our next step is to hire exceptional crews to join us as we serve each of these vibrant communities.”

Once both new restaurants open, there will be five Raising Cane’s in the San Diego area and 45 in California.

At Raising Cane’s chicken fingers are made from 100% premium white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also known for secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

The company is likewise known for community involvement, centered on education, feeding the hungry, pet welfare, business development and entrepreneurship, active lifestyles and “everything else!”

Raising Cane’s is consistently ranked among the top restaurant brands for food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and customer service. In 2020, Sandelman ranked Raising Cane’s the third-highest Restaurant brand in the U.S. for Overall Customer Satisfaction.

Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has more than 550 Restaurants in 29 states and the Middle East with 75 new Restaurants and 20 new markets planned for 2021.

The restaurant was named the “Fastest Growing Chicken Chain” by Nation’s Restaurant News in 2020. More information is available at raisingcanes.com.
