Public invited to 2020 State of the City Address

On Wednesday, February 26 the City of Escondido and the Escondido Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the 2020 State of the City Address. 

Mayor Paul McNamara, in partnership with the City Council, will give his annual assessment and review of the City’s accomplishments and his future vision for Escondido. The Mayor and City Council will also be giving out their 2020 Escondido City Council Awards during the event.

The free event will be held at the California Center for the Arts, starting with refreshments and networking beginning at 7:30 a.m., with the program being led by Irv Erdos starting at 8 a.m. 

Although the State of the City Address is free to attend reservations are strongly encouraged, and the event was made possible by many sponsors including Yes on B, SDG&E, The Super Dentists, AT&T, Harvest Hills, Shuster Oil and Toolshed Equipment Rental.

    State of the city will be “We kept doing what the Republicans did for the last 8 years even keeping the library privatized and now we are doing great, but we did change the meeting times, Democrats idea, so we get the credit”.
