Palomar Health was the leading award winner at the Health Care Communicators (HCC) of San Diego County “Finest Awards” ceremony, on Thursday, October 5, receiving 25 awards for marketing and communications excellence. The organization also received two national awards from Ragan Communications this month.
The HCC awards included a gold award for print advertising for the Passion, People, Purpose series; a gold award for the public relations campaign for the food and nutrition initiative; and a silver award in crisis communications for the relocation of the birth center. In total, the Marketing Department won seven gold, 11 silver and seven bronze awards; 39 percent of the total awards distributed.
Ragan Communications, the leading publisher of marketing communications newsletters in the nation, recognized Palomar Health’s Marketing Department with honorable mentions in the Campaign of the Year category for its multi-channel rebrand and Website category for its website redesign.

When added to the 31 marketing and communications awards earned from the Healthcare Marketing Report’s Healthcare Advertising Awards, the Palomar Health Marketing Department has now earned 58 awards in calendar year 2017.
