Open house benefiting North County Food Bank

A food drive benefiting the North County Food Bank is being held on Sunday, April 28 from noon until 2 p.m. in conjunction with an Open House at 10965 Meadow Glen East in Hidden Meadows Fairway of Escondido.

Everyone who donates one or more cans of food, and gives their opinion on price and condition of the home, is registered to win a prize.

“People want to help others, and people also enjoy looking at beautiful homes, so we combine these two events to give people the opportunity of having a ‘HGTV-experience, while helping support families in need,” said Kathy MacKenzie, broker/owner of MacKenzie Realty.

The food drive event is being held at a beautiful home that backs to the 7th tee-off in Hidden Meadows. A 200-year-old oak tree filters the sunlight in the backyard giving it a park-like feel. Inside, this custom home is filled with lots of features that can’t be found elsewhere, including a private balcony off the master retreat, and a private sundeck off an upstairs bedroom. This 3 Bdr/3.5 Bath home is currently available for sale through MacKenzie Realty.

Every donor is encouraged to explore the home, and give their feedback, whether they are in the market for a home or not. Stop by…if only for 5 minutes. One lucky person wins a prize.
