Sometimes you want a few things for dinner so why not try doing a Tapas dinner? Tapas are Mexican appetizers that are sure to please even the little ones in your house! I like to experiment with different ways to create a crust or shell on various foods to keep the carbohydrate intake down. These won ton wrappers can be used for so many things like these taco cups and quesadillas! These are great to bring to a potluck as well and are so cute!
24 Won Ton wrappers
1/2 lb ground turkey cooked, seasoned with taco seasoning
1/2 brown onion diced
2 cups salsa
3 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
Sour cream
Cilantro
1 Taco seasoning packet
3 Tbl vegetable oil
For the quesadillas:
Use 12 won ton

For the won ton taco cups:
In a muffin tin, spray nonstick cooking spray in each mold. Place two wrappers in each mold until it forms a cup. Place 1 Tbl ground seasoned turkey, 1 tsp of salsa, and 1 Tbl of shredded cheese in the cup. Bake at 425 for 9 minutes until the edges of the won tons are browned.
Top each of these tapas when cooked with your choice of cilantro, sour cream and onions. This makes it fun for people to add what they like on each tapa! Enjoy!
Is there a way I can get Jamie’s recipe for balsamic glaze chicken?
