On December 2, and for the 7th year in a row, North County’s Foundation for Senior Wellbeing is hosting their major fundraising event, the “Festival of Trees”, to be held this year at the Optimist Club in Vista (600 Optimist Way, Vista).
Fully-decorated, themed Christmas trees donated by area businesses and community groups will be on view and for sale, along with a variety of auction items that include “Dinner with San Marcos Mayor (and 5th District Supervisor candidate) Jim Desmond”, a one-week stay in a Paris apartment, golf at Shadowridge Country Club, and much more. There will also be a holiday boutique featuring unique, and many hand-made items. There will also be an opportunity drawing for a flat-screen television, and many other great prizes!
There are two separate events, with food being provided by the chefs at many of North County’s finest senior living communities. The first is a “Champagne Brunch” from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for only $20 per person. The second event is a cocktail party from 6:00 to 9:00 that evening. Your contribution will help the Foundation to continue to serve North County seniors in need.
Major event sponsors include: Newland Sierra, LLC; Tri City Medical Center; Kaiser Health; and Walton Law.
Please help us keep our mission alive and join us in serving the seniors of our region who most need our compassion. Thank you, and come join the fun.
