Nine high school seniors honored with FLAG awards

The Escondido History Center’s FLAG (Future Legends Award Group) Committee culminated its first year with an Awards Ceremony at the Santa Fe Train Depot in Grape Day Park on October 9.  

Nine 2019 Escondido Forever Legends were honored by nine the selected outstanding seniors from high schools in Escondido as Future Legends.  The Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians provided each a $1,000 honorarium and other awards to these nine outstanding seniors.
