John DelZio is the new owner of the Valley Center Allstate Insurance, located at 31034 Valley Center Rd.
He recently purchased the business from Robin Schultz, who plans to stay on board as a service agent. DelZio has been in the insurance and financial services industry for 20 years. He was a financial planner for ten years and worked at both Allstate and State Farm for a total of ten years.
A Bonsall resident, DelZio told the Times Advocate, “I love the area. My wife and I have come through here many times. The priest who married us was the St. Stephen Catholic priest.”
DelZio emphasized that the office is “independently owned and operated. We take the time to be sure we have what people need. You can expect from us sincere, honest advice, while working with you to minimize your premiums as though we were spending our own money.”
He added, “Obviously we want to do business with you, but if it’s not appropriate for you to switch from your current coverage we won’t recommend that.” Referrals are the lifeblood of any insurance business. Anyone who refers a new customer to the office will be given a $25 Visa gift card as a way of saying “thanks.” “We want to build our business on referrals,” said DelZio.
Allstate provides insurance for auto, home, life and retirement, and through partnerships, can get you the help you need to sign up for Covered California health insurance.
Other agents include Steve Schultz, Robin’s son, who has worked at the office for five years, and Alejandra Barreto, who has worked there for three years.
