New Hours at public library

As of Sunday, March 4, the Escondido library has expanded hours.

Sunday 1 p.m.- 5 p.m.

Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The library has several upcoming activities in March.

Park Avenue Community Center• Ages 13 – Adults

Join in the fun at the Library’s 14th Annual Scrabble© Tournament and Fundraiser. Register and compete at your division level. Pre-registration is required by Monday, March 12, 2017. Attendees can also participate in opportunity drawings and a silent auction! Prizes will be awarded for high individual and team scores.

New Technology

Mid-March, Escondido Public Library is introducing technology upgrades that will improve the user checkout experience, allow payment of fines and fees to be made with a credit or debit card, and provide better security and inventory of library materials.

The Bayou Brothers recreate the infectious sounds of a Mardi Gras celebration with their Zydeco-influenced blend of banjo, guitar, accordion, and rubboard.
