Multicultural Holiday Festival will be held Dec. 14 at Grape Day Park

The Multicultural Holiday Festival will be held Saturday, December 14, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. in Grape Day Park. This is a free, family-friendly event.

The Escondido Christmas Parade is that morning and they will have the Trophy awards ceremony around 1 p.m. right on the  stage at Grape Day Park, which is where the Festival will be.

There will be Music, Arts and Vendors from around the world.  The event is being put on by Sohaila and Angel Aguilar, president and founders of USA Multicultural.

There will be performances by: Mariachi bands, Mexican folklore groups, Flamenco dancers, hip-hop singers, belly dancers, Hawaiian dancers, music bands, piñatas and more.

Angel Aguilar told The Times-Advocate, “The USA Multicultural Entertainment Group utilizes the foundations of community efforts to embrace all cultures within our community to unify all.

My priority it to bring community together in a safe and comfortable atmosphere and participate in events for camaraderie.”

He added, “As long time residents in Escondido, we found that there was no grand event that catered to all of North County for all communities to come together and participate. A Multicultural Holiday Festival is our annual sensation to come to . A fun, family event that will have vending booths, food booths, demonstrations, games and all day of entertainment from music bands, to acting to dancing, you name it, we will have it!”
