ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Baker Electric was nominated for an award of $620,000 in California Competes Tax Credits (CCTC) to be approved later this week in Sacramento. The award was the 17th largest this round for the large business category. The CCTC is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to come to California or stay and grow in California.
LAKE WOHLFORD CLEANUP
The CODEGREEN Committee at Harrah’s Resort Southern California, in partnership with HERO and I Love a Clean San Diego present The Creek to Bay Beach Clean Up on Saturday, April 23rd. They are seeking volunteers to help clean up their adopted sites, Lake Wohlford in Valley Center and Buccaneer Beach in Oceanside.
