December Events at Sip, Wine and Beer

Sip, Wine and Beer at 131 S. Orange Street, will be hosting the following events during December:

December 1, 7-10 p.m.

Start December off with soulful sounds from Jimmy & Enrique! Bring your friends, SIP a bottle of wine, and enjoy the atmosphere!

December 7, 7-9 p.m.

Bill Powell, wine maker from Paso Robles Powell Mountain Cellars will be at SIP to showcase his character wines. Taste his extraordinary wines along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres for $25.

December 14, 7-9 p.m.

Justin Wines, 2015’s Wine Enthusiast of the Year will be at SIP! Taste their holiday selection along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres for $25.

December 15, 7-10 p.m.

Jimmy & Enrique are back to close out 2016 with their holiday grooves. Bring a group of friends and dance the night away!

December 17, 7-10 p.m.

Start your Christmas vacation with Sip’s Ugly Sweater Party! Throw on your best sweater and chill to sounds from Eavesdrop Entertainment.

December 21, 7-9 p.m.

Tax Credit Workshop

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is hosting a workshop on the California Competes Tax Credit. Small, medium, and large businesses are encouraged to attend the workshop and receive instructions on how to apply for this tax credit program.

Time: 9:30 – 11 a.m.

Location: City of Escondido, Council Chambers, 201 North Broadway, Escondido 92025

The California Competes Tax Credit Program has $243.3 million in tax credits available during the 2016-17 fiscal year for businesses that want to expand in or relocate to California. The next application period begins January 2, 2017. Come and learn how your business can apply for millions in available tax credits.

The workshop and the program are free and available to businesses of all sizes throughout the state.

Parking information: Parking is free in the large lot on Woodward Avenue between Broadway and Escondido Blvd. and walk through Grape Day Park to the Council Chambers.
