The Mercado de Mezcal lounge just warming up for the weekend at KAABOO’s Palate exhibit.
San Diego’s KAABOO is not only known for music and comedy. It features a great deal of talented culinary artists from around the country competing to wow the masses with original cuisines along side local brewers and distillers that create unique flavors that make San Diego county a major hub for tantalizing tourism. Among these talents was featured Escondido’s very own Mercado de Mezcal.
The company was invited directly by the event to host its very own lounge space in the Palate arena from Sept 16 – 18. The lounge featured five different booths of artisanal agave mezcals that are 100% hand crafted and produced in small farms from different regions throughout Mexico.

“This is, by far, one of the coolest spirits opportunities for guests here because they could come to try a variety of mezcals that are all made in very small batches. They are hard to get. We sell them

Volunteer, Steven, serving as one of the bartenders for the Mezcal lounge.
