Man survives multiple gunshot wounds

Escondido police Wednesday morning were investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday night on Hubbard Avenue.
On Tuesday, May 15, at 8:53 p.m. Escondido police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Hubbard Avenue.
Officers arrived within minutes to discover a 20-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Escondido Fire Department personnel transported the victim to Palomar Medical Center for treatment. The victim sustained serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
According to Escondido Police Spokesman Lt. Ed Varso, there is no suspect description at this time. Events preceding the shooting and any possible relationship between the suspect and victim remain under investigation. No arrests have been made.
