A man was stabbed at Mountain View Park In Escondido on Sunday afternoon, about 3:30 p.m., Escondido Police Department reported. He was taken to the hospital, where police attempted to interview him but he refused to cooperate.
According to EPD spokesman Lt. Mike Kearney the victim “provided very little information. There was one witness but we only had a description of a vehicle that left the area. We were unable to determine where the crime actually happened. There is a possibility that he was just dropped off there.”
Lt. Kearney was asked if the public should be concerned about its safety at the park.
“I don’t think anyone has anything to worry regarding safety at the park,” said Lt. Kearney.
