Report on CA State Democratic Party Convention

This year the CA State Democratic party held their convention in San Diego, February 23-25. Several of us from the EDC were able to attend, as delegates or as observers. It included speakers such as Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, and Maxine Waters. There were a lot of candidates for all the state-wide offices, and delegates were unable to reach consensus on many of them, including Senator, Governor, and Lt. Governor.

For local races, the recommendations made at the pre-endorsement conference in January were confirmed: CA Assembly District 75: Alan GeraciCA Senate District 38 Jeff Griffith and Congressional House District 50: Ammar Campa-Najjar.
