OK, y’all know I am not happy with the State of California, but things are getting ridiculous.
Two day ago I was stopped at eastbound Grand at Ash in Escondido on my motorcycle. This is a state highway intersection as Ash is SR78. I put my foot down in a major pothole. Not good. But then I look and see that there are bare wires sticking up through the pavement. These wires are for the pressure plates that trigger the signal lights.
I thought our uber high gas taxes, and SB1, were there to fix the California highways. And to make matters worse, Ash Street (Hwy 78) from Oak Hill to Valley is so rough, you need a dual sport bike to ride comfortably.
California used to have the best roads. Where is the gas tax money going? Being an avid motorcycle rider, I am finding more and more California roads that are becoming unrideable.
