Glad we have the Supervisors and Mayors of north county fighting for sensible and cost-efficient solutions. Riverside/OC HOV/toll roads use a similar method during rush hour (sometimes a one-way trip costs $22.00), which only pushes people back into regular traffic lanes, making driving conditions/congestion worse, increasing GHG’s, and worsening the affordability aspects of California.
There are too many people residing outside downtown SD, work areas are spread throughout the county, and public transportation is woefully deficient and too slow to accommodate how life is lived here in California. SANDAG staff is to think and provide alternative solutions, but the new executive director needs to listen to the board and stop social experiments.
