Editor, Times-Advocate:
Probably, an even more closely watched contest than California’s current Powerball Mega-Millions drawing, will be finding out who claims winning ticket, on Lilac Hills Ranch Ballot Measure on San Diego County’s General Election in November 2016.
Will registered voters in San Diego approve, or disapprove Lilac Hills Ranch Ballot Measure? While pundits used to call contests like this a “million dollar question,” during 2016 the stakes couldn’t be higher. Although I couldn’t accurately estimate a value figure, I imagine calculations are being formed already, as analysts on both sides anguish over the outcome.
Actually, SD Voters might get an early hint soon, or at least be able to examine how Lilac Hills Ranch Specific Plan will be described in the 2016 Voter’s Guide, as a new impartial analysis will be prepared and released soon by SD County Registrar of Voters.
In fact, a new 10-day Impact Report by County staff will be released publicly on Thursday July 28, 2016, to inform Board of Supervisors for further action August 2, 2016; to place Lilac Hills Ranch project as Ballot Measure during 2016 General Election cycle. Countdown is imminent until the next clue is released.
