Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center (FPRC) invites women to attend a Music and Wine House Concert hosted by Kathleen Melonakos at her home in south Escondido near Orfila Winery on Sunday, October 14 from 2–5 p.m.
Featured is Jasmine Commerce, singer and guitarist. She commented, “FPRC is a cause that is near and dear to my heart to be sure. Twenty years ago, when I was 20 years old, I faced a crisis pregnancy in my junior year of college. My own father left when I was 11 years old, and my mother raised my 3 brothers and myself mainly without his help. When I found myself pregnant, those old memories raced through my mind, and I felt incredibly lost, and terrified about the prospect of facing this pregnancy alone.
“By the grace of God and with a lot help and support from my friends, my family and countless others, I graduated on time with my eight-month-old daughter under my arm. I am proud and honored to be asked to support a pregnancy center that would aid other women in becoming the best mothers that they can be to their beautiful babies! I hear the center is expanding and that makes my heart so happy. There are so many women out there who feel lost and helpless and even hopeless like I did, and these women need the guidance, the love and the professional care that places like FPRC offers.”
Wine and appetizers will be served at the Concert. Limited space is available. The cost is $20 with funds raised benefiting FPRC programs that welcome life with compassionate support and hope. In 2017 more than 624 clients received 2,676 services provided free to moms at the center and 38 babies were welcomed into the Fallbrook community.
