Habitat restored in San Pasqual Valley

In 2019, working with a $104,000 grant from the State of California, the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy and the Urban Corps of San Diego teamed up on habitat restoration on the Fenton North property in the San Pasqual Valley. Funded under the local Corps’s allocation of Prop. 68 monies, the grant was used to remove invasive plant species and enhance riparian habitat function in this critical wildlife-movement corridor. Now in the homestretch, based on camera-trap data, the restoration appears to have significantly improved wildlife habitat function.  For more information visit
