The 16th annual golf tournament benefiting Escondido Charter High School will be held March 16 at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Escondido.
Escondido Charter High School is a public charter high school serving students from 9th to 12th grade. According to president and founder Dennis “Coach” Snyder: “Our goal is to provide students with a quality education that allows them to be accepted by highly competitive universities. We focus on partnering strong family values with rigorous academics to ensure students develop leadership, strength and academic skills to enable them to reach their potential.”
Because ECHS is a charter school it doesn’t receive the same funding as regular public schools, so it relies on fundraising support through our Annual Golf Tournament to help support our efforts.
This fundraiser helps to support scholarships, technology, and academic programs. Last year ECHS provided new computers to classrooms and fencing for the new softball field.
This year the goal is to raise $20,000 for the new Technology and Engineering programs at Escondido Charter High School.
