The Escondido Fire Department was dispatched to two fires on Tuesday.
At 7:16 a.m., Escondido Fire was dispatched to a reported vegetation fire in the 2100 block of S. Escondido Blvd.
Fire Chief Rick Vogt told The Times-Advocate “First arriving units found a small fire in the canyon adjacent to a mobile home park. Crews were able to quickly contain the fire. Due to the location of the fire, it took close to an hour of overhaul to ensure complete extinguishment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
There was another fire dispatch at 8:45 a.m. to an incident at a home on Roseann Avenue that wound up being a small fire in an electrical outlet.
