Heartbreaking! In 2010 we lost Placido less than two blocks away. Life needs to offer more to these young men. I urge people to read, I American, by Rod Baza. Rod shares his life as an Escondido gang member. How do we offer hope and change to our young people?
I remember Placido, He was one of the only people that helped us move when no one else was available to help us. Always such a nice person. Young people are lost, we need to help them find themselves.
Placido was a true G may he rest in peace
I will look for that book – thanks for letting us know the author’s background, Barbara
