EUSD’s Maria Osborn honored

Bob Mueller, Executive Director, Outdoor Education and Student Support Services, San Diego County Office of Education and Maria Osborn, Attendance Intervention Project Specialist.

EUSD’s Attendance Intervention Project Specialist Maria Osborn was honored with the Life Changer Award at the San Diego County Office of Education’s Annual Summit on Student Achievement and Attendance, held at the Marina Village Conference Center on Friday, September 15.

She was recognized 25 years of unwavering support to students and families as a school social worker, for her integration of restorative practice strategies into the Student Assistance Review Board process, and for her influence on the attendance intervention process in districts throughout San Diego County.

Osborn has been an employee of the Escondido Union School District since 2010 and currently works as an administrator in the Integrated Student Supports Department.
