Estella Trinidad Meyer died at home on November 20, 2016. She was born on September 17, 1929 in Chino, California. She was a long-time resident of Escondido.
Mrs. Meyer had an enormous capacity to live. She took all of the roles in her life to heart and strove to support, guide and most importantly, love her family. She was the happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Her devotion to her faith was the foundation of her actions-the anchor that defined and shaped her life.
Her family will always remember the many wonderful aspects of Mrs. Meyer’s life and the many waysthat she touched and enriched their lives. She always did the best for all of them and will be loved and remembered as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. By her actions and words, she made us want to be better. The pages of her book will never be closed and her memory always treasured.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Alhiser-Comer Mortuary 225 S. Broadway in Escondido. Rosary and Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1160 S. Broadway, Escondido on Friday, December 2, 2016. Internment follows at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 2640 Glen Ridge Rd., Escondido.
