Escondido this week became the city with the third largest number of COVID-19 cases. Below are the comparisons:

It is now possible to get figures for actual locations in Escondido that have had outbreaks. The Times-Advocate found figures for November from the KPBS website: kpbs.org. Several city senior living homes recorded high numbers of cases, as did two churches. One restaurant was included in the list.
The facility with the highest number of outbreaks in November—third highest in the County was the senior living/nursing home Vista Del Lago Memory Care, which had 89 cases.
The second highest in the city was the AAA office on La Terraza, which had 19 cases in November.
The third highest number of cases in the city was Target on Auto Park Way, which had 16 cases.
Following in 4th place was the senior living/nursing home Cypress Court, with 15 cases.
The Safari Park followed in 5th place with 7 cases,
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, was the 6th highest, with 6 cases.
The senior living/nursing home Felicita Vida Senior Living had 6 cases.
The Resurrection Catholic Church had 5 cases.
The senior living/nursing home Oak Ranch House, had 4 cases.
The manufacturing business Bit Pros had 4 cases.
Baker Electric, another manufacturing business, had 4 cases.
Olive Garden, the only restaurant in the list, had 4 cases.
Rocky Coast Builders had 4 cases.
