Escondido Democratic Club to meet

The February 9 Escondido Democratic Club membership meeting will welcome filmmaker and activist Michael Allen who will talk about his new film, “How Hot Is It Going to Get?” Check out the Facebook page for a preview.

And stay after to help kick off the club’s 2019 postcard writing campaign! The goal is to reach out to newly registered Democrats in Escondido and keep building on previous successes.

Members are urged to renew dues, which are $35 for families or $25 for individuals and $10 for students.

The club is building up its war chest for the upcoming 2020 election year and this fall will send delegates to the State Democratic Pre-Endorsement Meetings.

January 27 members turned out to vote for delegates to represent State Assembly District 75 at the CA State Democratic Convention. Four EDC members were elected: Rick Bova, Matt Corrales, Wayne Lu, and Georgine Tomasi. Upcoming Events
