With the promise of “Small batch beers from the heart of the Hidden City” Escondido Brewing Co. opened this past weekend at 649 Rock Springs Rd. Editor’s Note: The Times-Advocate hopes to have a feature on the brewery in next week’s edition.
The company opened in a formerly vacant warehouse space adjacent to Escondido Feed & Pet Supply.
At less than 300 square feet, the company is currently the smallest operating brewery in San Diego County. According to the brewery’s website: “We focus exclusively on small batch beers, which allows us to continually experiment with unique styles and flavors. When our passion for quality beer is infused with heart and history, the result speaks for itself.”
The brewery’s family- and leashed pet-friendly patio accommodates about 30 guests at a time. They have bar seating and few picnic tables, as well as a number of patio games. At this time, only outside seating is available.
Hours are Friday 4-8 p.m. Saturday 2-8 p.m. They are closed Sunday-Thursday. Call 858-531-4444.
