
The annual Valley Center Summer Food Truck Festival (see main story, pg 10) has announced a line up of family-friendly entertainment. From 2 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, this popular event will be held under the trees at Bates Nut Farm. Last summer nearly 2,000 guests attended the festival, and this year the event organizers expect the turnout to exceed that figure.
In addition to the food, there will be entertainment throughout the day, making this a fun destination for families and friends. Live on the Cruise Party Stage from 4 – 7 p.m. is singer/ guitarist Red Lane. He adds his unique style to Texas Blues, Classic Rock and Country music.

Bates Nut Farm is bringing some exciting local talent to entertain visitors to its food truck festival August 15.
Bates Nut Farm is located 20 minutes east of I-15 through Escondido at 15954 Woods Valley Rd., Valley Center, CA 92082.
