On Tuesday January 12, 2021, the Escondido Elks Lodge along with Elks Lodges throughout California and the Hawaiian island of Oahu in conjunction with Chili’s Restaurants, are holding their 7th annual charity fundraiser for the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project Inc.(CHEMPI) to help children with disabilities.
This event is spearheaded by Escondido Elks Lodge’s Past Exalted Ruler Steven Wagstaff. With each event day flyer presented at the time of purchase, or by notifying a Chili’s staff member you are supporting this event, Chili’s will donate 15% of their event day sales back to the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project Inc.
This event takes place all day from open to close at all participating Chili’s restaurants. In the event the restaurants are not open for dine-in, takeout and curb-side pick-up options will still count towards the fundraiser as long as you let them know you are supporting this event. Credit will not be given to any UBER, Postmates, etc., delivery orders.
CHEA – The California – Hawaii Elks Association is a charitable organization serving children with disabilities since 1950.
With 168 lodges in 19 Districts (including Guam and the Philippines), the California-Hawaii Elks Association CHEA serves disabled children, veterans, and youth in a wide range of activities.
The Elks are proud organization with roots back to 1868. The Thousands of Elks not only help millions of people, but are a social organization whose members enjoy the company of other Elks at lodges where their meals and beverages support their growth and the community.
